Welcome!

Hello, beautiful. 😉 Thanks for coming! This page will remain here as a guide to the blog. “Recent Posts” are on the left. Mobile users may find this at the bottom of their screens instead. The “Table of Contents” section will help you find a particular category you may be looking for (eyeshadows, lipsticks, perfume, subscription services, beauty articles, etc.).

My blog officially launched August 16th, 2015. I am still testing things out, so if I make any changes to the format you’ll find them noted right here on the main page. I hope to see you again soon!

Lili.

Your blog is well-written, easy to navigate, and full of helpful beauty tips. I was especially interested in reading your tips on nail polishes, since I just started polishiing my nails after having bitten them for 70 years.

I’ve used Clinique foundation for many years but am considering changing to something else, preferably something I can buy at Walmart. Do you or your readers have any suggestions? I still like the Clinique product but not the new squeeze container. Thank You. Diane

    • Thank you for the encouraging comment! I don’t have much experience with foundations from mass retailers because my shade is never available. However, I did some research. Based on the top user ratings on Walmart, Target, and Ulta websites as well as reviews from Youtube, I have a list of three foundations that you might like. The first is Maybelline Instant Age Rewind. It has 18 SPF and is for all skin types. The downside is that there are only 8 shades available and the glass bottle doesn’t come with a pump, but it is the highest rated. Another option is the L’Oréal Visible Lift Serum Absolute Foundation. It has 17 SPF, 12 shades, and comes in a pump. This serum version was rated higher than the original Loreal Lift in the squeeze bottle. And the last one on the list is Revlon ColorStay Makeup which has 15 SPF, 12 shades to choose from and is for Normal/Dry skin. I hope you’re able to find a good alternative to Clinique and thank you again for visiting my blog!

Thank you for the valuable information on Maybelline, L’Oreal and Revlon foundation. If I find a shade that works for me, I will go with Maybelline,

I appreciate you taking the time to research this for me. It was a huge help!
